Privacy policy

We measure boats and planes, not people.

Effective 5 August 2026. Plain language, because a privacy policy you can't read isn't one.

What Traffik is

Traffik.ai ("Traffik", "we") is a movement-intelligence platform. We measure the movement of superyachts and private aviation from public safety broadcasts, AIS at sea, ADS-B in the air , inside named geographic zones. Our subject matter is vessels, aircraft, and places. We do not identify passengers and we do not track individuals.

What we collect on this website

If you request a demo or a report, we ask for your name, email, company, and what you're interested in. We use it to respond to you and for nothing else: no lists, no resale. Our web server keeps ordinary access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and operations, retained briefly and reviewed only when something breaks. This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers.

Voice assistants and AI surfaces

Our Alexa skill, and any Traffik app inside AI assistants such as ChatGPT or Claude, answer questions from our published, free-tier data. These surfaces require no account, no sign-in, and no personal information. We do not store your questions linked to who you are. Your interaction with the assistant platform itself (your voice, your account there) is governed by that platform's own privacy policy, Amazon's for Alexa, OpenAI's for ChatGPT, Anthropic's for Claude.

Where the vessel data comes from

Positions come from safety broadcasts that vessels and aircraft transmit publicly by design, received through licensed data providers and open networks. Aircraft data includes data from adsb.lol contributors under the ODbL. Reference material draws on Wikimedia and other credited sources. We publish measured aggregates: arrivals, attendance, movement, floors, not estimates.

Sharing

We share personal information with no one, except the service providers who host our infrastructure (who process it only to run our systems) and where the law requires it.

Your choices

Want to know what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted? Email hello@traffik.ai and we'll act on it. If you've asked for the weekly brief or a report and want out, one email does it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date. We won't quietly repurpose data collected under an older promise.
